After five outings across Yorkshire’s curry scene, Curry Club returned once again—this time venturing to Jinnah in Selby, a restaurant that has been whispered about for years and finally earned its spot on the list. And let’s just say this upfront: Jinnah didn’t just deliver… it absolutely dominated.
This was our largest turnout yet, with eight seats filled around the table.
Regular members Damon, Jack, Hamish, Luke, and Louis were joined by honourable guest attendees Curt, Mini and Keiran, while Oliver unfortunately couldn’t make this one.
⭐ Atmosphere & Service
From the moment we walked in, Jinnah set a sophisticated tone.
Friendly staff, quick drinks, warm décor — everything ran smoothly and professionally.
🍽️ Starters, Sizzlers & Spectacle
The sizzling starters were theatrical, fragrant and beautifully presented.
But the star attraction?
Those enormous hanging naans.
They were outrageous in size, god-tier in flavour, and a real talking point of the night.

🌶️ The Main Event — Flavour, Colour & Heat
The mains were consistent across the board:
rich, vibrant, spicy and perfectly cooked.
Heat levels were bang-on for everyone, and the portion sizes were more than generous.
Several members said this was the best food Curry Club has had so far.

💷 Price & Value
For drinks, poppadoms, pickles, sizzling starters, mains, rice and those colossal naans, the bill came to:
£38–£42 per person
Given the quality, it felt like a bargain.

Every plate looked incredible. Every dish tasted phenomenal. Every naan hung like a curtain.

If the next restaurant wants to beat this score…
well, good luck to them.
